Job Description

This opportunity is centered in Mettawa, IL, but applicants can reside anywhere in the United States since the role involves nationwide support.

The Senior Regional Business Executive interacts with APEX, Managed Health Care Account Management Team, Field Sales Team and Marketing to identify and execute initiatives at the Regional level that will effectively have an impact on national sales and product market share.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for partnering with Regional Directors and APEX team to analyze and identify unique business opportunities within each region that can further the growth of the overall Chronic Migraine/Spasticity & Movement Disorders franchise.
  • Partner with FPAT to develop and establish core sales team initiatives such as IC plan, targeting, and TAP process.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of execution and performance and bring recommendations to leadership on challenges/opportunities at the regional and national level.
  • Analyze the Managed Care landscape, prioritize opportunities for Managed Care pull-through, and work with NSM to implement changes via field sales training, direct-to-physician training, and other methods deemed appropriate.
  • Work with Managed Health Care Account Management Team and sales force to optimize the value of payer contracts by leading the development and execution of pull-through plans at regional and local levels.
  • Provide business support templates to all levels of leadership to ensure consistency in business planning across the franchise.
  • Work with FPAT and ZS on territory optimizations and mapping on an annual basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
  • Experience leading or working on cross-functional teams in the corporate office or field sales environment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales management/leadership and managed care experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products.
  • Excellent organization/project management and leadership skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and inspire teams without direct authority. Demonstrated ability to network and partner effectively across functional areas.
  • An essential requirement of your position is to satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations that are in your assigned territory. You must also be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain these credentials.
  • These HCIR credentialing requirements may include, but are not limited to, background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination for various diseases, fingerprinting and specific licenses required by individual state or cities.
